iHOP Budget Guidelines

• Grant funds may only be used as described in the line-item budget and budget narrative
• Fringe benefits may be included up to a 25% rate
• Travel will not be allowed unless it is specifically related to the project.  For example, travel to a national meeting will not be allowed, but travel to conduct home visits with patients may be included in a grant budget.
• Equipment costs (computers, printers, etc.) are not allowed
• A maximum of 10% indirect costs may be included in the line item budget
• Indirect funds are defined as funds that may be utilized for general overhead expenses of the applicant organization and do not need to be defined by line-item.
